Besides using Second Life it's fun to also try out all the different platforms and solutions that are available out there. Active Worlds, Blue Mars, SUNs Wonderland, RealXtend and others are all very interesting examples that I believe should be taken into account when making a comprehensive virtual world analysis.

So what’s my point – how do we get the picture instead of the 1,000 words?  It is accomplished by leveraging the fantastic technologies that are available to each and every one of us.  The needed picture can be provided in the virtual worlds of Second Life and Project Wonderland.  These virtual worlds can be used to visualize and “touch” the impact of the systems being deployed...
